Afflu Announces Afflu Ignite, a Lightweight Edge-AI Platform for Industrial Flare Monitoring
TelAve News/10887906
New solution helps operators detect abnormal flare and smoke events faster, improve auditability, and reduce reliance on manual inspections
TORONTO - TelAve -- Afflu today announced the launch of Afflu Ignite, an edge-AI vision monitoring platform built to modernize industrial flare oversight. Afflu Ignite is designed to give operators clearer visibility into flare behavior and smoke events with deploy-fast hardware options, configurable alerting, and an audit-ready event timeline, without requiring heavy infrastructure in many deployments.
Industrial flare monitoring is often manual, reactive, and hard to audit. Abnormal flame or smoke events can be missed between inspections, while remote sites and connectivity constraints can delay response and complicate reporting. Afflu Ignite addresses these challenges by enabling continuous monitoring at the edge, supporting flexible connectivity options, and converting visual flare activity into structured, reviewable data.

"Operators deserve modern tools that work in real site conditions—remote locations, limited bandwidth, and busy teams," said Pradniya Kapilan, CEO of Afflu. "Afflu Ignite was built to be lightweight and practical: fast to deploy, simple to operate, and focused on auditability and time-to-value."
Afflu Ignite's initial capabilities include:
"Coming from a data and systems background, I've seen how critical issues get missed when processes depend on manual observation and fragmented records," said Sharu Sivapalan, COO and Product Lead at Afflu. "Afflu Ignite helps convert what the camera sees into actionable, structured insight so teams can respond faster and document confidently."
