Strategic partnership brings high-speed internet to 680 rural locations, advancing digital equity and educational opportunity in Central Linn.

PHILOMATH, Ore. - TelAve -- Alyrica Networks and Rural Prosperity Partners (RPP) are proud to announce that their collaborative broadband expansion proposal has been named a preliminary awardee under the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program for the Central Linn School District (SD 552).

Under the Oregon Broadband Technical Assistance Program, led by Rural Prosperity Partners and funded by a grant from USDA Rural Development, Alyrica was partnered with broadband consulting firm JSI to co-develop a technically robust and community-focused application. The proposal outlines a hybrid fiber and fixed wireless deployment strategy designed to bring high-speed internet access to 680 locations across the district and surrounding rural communities.

The total project cost is $7,176,935, with $5,336,718 in grant funds requested through the BEAD program. Administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), BEAD is the largest broadband investment initiative in U.S. history, aimed at closing the digital divide by funding infrastructure projects that serve unserved and underserved locations, particularly in rural and high-cost areas.
