American Legion Gaming Heads to Louisville for 107th National Convention

TelAve News/10903523
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - TelAve -- American Legion Gaming (ALG) will bring gaming, information, and opportunities to connect to The American Legion's 107th National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, later this month.

From Saturday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Aug. 31, ALG will host a booth inside the Exhibit Hall at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The booth will allow Legionnaires and other members of The American Legion Family to learn more about ALG, meet members of the gaming community, and experience some of what the program provides.

Along with information about ALG and ways to get involved, the booth will include four gaming stations for convention attendees. Two PlayStation consoles and two Nintendo emulator stations will be available for booth use, giving visitors a chance to stop in and play throughout the three-day activation.

The gaming stations are intended to make the booth an interactive space where attendees can spend time together while learning how gaming can support connection among Veterans, Service Members, military families, and supporters.

ALG uses gaming and online communities to create additional ways for Veterans and others in the military community to stay connected. The National Convention provides an opportunity to introduce that mission to Legionnaires from across the country, including members who may be discovering ALG for the first time.

The American Legion's 107th National Convention will take place Aug. 28 through Sept. 3 in Louisville. The convention is The American Legion's largest annual gathering and brings together thousands of members of The American Legion Family for meetings, training, programs, activities, and events.

Attendees can visit the ALG booth in the Exhibit Hall Saturday, Aug. 29, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 31, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Convention attendees are encouraged to stop by the ALG booth, play a game, meet the team, and learn how they can become part of the American Legion Gaming community.
