An Interactive Art Exhibition in Queens — Dream Visions: The Inner Pilgrimage
TelAve News/10877599
Step into a multidimensional realm where abstract painting, poetry, and Augmented Reality converge in a spiritually charged journey by Queens-based artist Sandra Vucicevic.
LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. - TelAve -- STUDIO 34 Gallery is proud to present Dream Visions: The Inner Pilgrimage, a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Sandra Vucicevic. Known for her evocative abstract compositions, Vucicevic invites visitors into a sacred space where image meets poetic word and transformation unfolds.
The exhibition features 32 abstract paintings—primarily acrylic on canvas, alongside select works in watercolor and oil—that immerse viewers in vivid, imagined landscapes shaped by emotion, intuition, and spiritual reflection. The works are rich with color and movement, flowing from one canvas to the next like a turning color wheel.
"These paintings are like stills from another world," says Vucicevic. "They depict an invented nature—landscapes far from people and noise, existing solely within the mind's eye."

Organized into four thematic clusters—Awakening, Descent, Illumination, and Return—the show pairs each painting with an original haiku, crafting a lyrical and visual journey through the mystical dimensions of inner pilgrimage. Vucicevic, who first published her poetry and drawings in The Gate (1995), marks with this exhibition a powerful return to her poetic roots, now intricately woven with her abstract art. A bilingual art and poetry book based on this exhibition is currently in preparation, extending the creative voyage beyond the gallery walls.
Featuring Augmented Reality, the show also offers an interactive experience: visitors can engage with the artwork via smartphones and watch the paintings come alive on their screens, revealing hidden layers of animation and meaning.
