As Brevard Heads Into Mountain Song Weekend, KayeDinero Brings a Different Kind of WNC Sound
TelAve News/10906072
The Asheville-based producer releases "Human Error" as Western North Carolina enters another weekend celebrating music, mountains and independent creativity.
BREVARD, N.C. - TelAve -- Western North Carolina is heading into another major music weekend, and Asheville-based artist KayeDinero is adding a decidedly different sound to the region's creative conversation.
Her new seven-track album, Human Error, is officially live.
The release arrives as Brevard prepares for the Sept. 11–12 Mountain Song Festival at Brevard Music Center—another reminder of how deeply music and mountain culture intersect throughout Western North Carolina.
KayeDinero is not affiliated with the festival, but says that broader culture is part of what has made the region so creatively energizing.
"One thing I love about Western North Carolina is that music doesn't belong to one genre here," KayeDinero said. "You can hear bluegrass, rock, experimental music, singer-songwriters and people making things completely on their own terms."

A Different Kind of Mountain Record
Human Error does not attempt to imitate traditional Appalachian music.
Instead, KayeDinero combines digital production, melodic atmosphere, hip-hop-influenced rhythm and cinematic instrumental storytelling.
The project includes "Morristown," "Lumière," "Geek Squad," "Become Human," "It's Absolute," "Karaoke Dance" and "Truth Be Told."
The album's central idea asks what happens when technology's demand for precision meets human emotion and instinct.
"Computers like perfect instructions," KayeDinero said. "People are more interesting than that."
Her recent releases have also increasingly documented Western North Carolina itself, including "Appalachia," "Hendersonville," "French Broad," "Starlight" and "BoomTown."
