The Georgia Latino International Film Festival celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month September 30–October 4, 2026, at Atlanta's Fox Theatre, honoring Mexico as its 2026 Country of Honor
ATLANTA - TelAve -- The Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) announced the 15th Annual Georgia Latino International Film Festival (GALIFF), celebrating its quinceañera with five days of films, filmmakers, red carpets, culture, music, and community from September 30 through October 4, 2026, at Atlanta's Fox Theatre.
To mark this milestone, Mexico has been named GALIFF's 2026 Country of Honor, bringing one of the world's most celebrated cinematic traditions to Atlanta. Throughout the festival, audiences will experience award-winning films, filmmakers, special guests, cuisine, and cultural programming celebrating the artistry, creativity, and global influence of Mexican cinema.
What began as a vision has grown into one of the Southeast's premier Latino film festivals, championing independent filmmakers, amplifying underrepresented voices, and connecting Georgia with stories from Latin America, the United States, and around the world. GALIFF has become a launching pad for emerging artists, a gathering place for industry leaders, and a cultural home for communities whose stories deserve the biggest screen.

"This Quinceañera is more than an anniversary it's a celebration of every filmmaker, volunteer, sponsor, and audience member who believed in our mission," said Yvette Moise, Founder and President. "Honoring Mexico during this milestone year is especially meaningful because its cinematic legacy has inspired generations of storytellers around the world."
The festival is entering a new digital era. GALIFF has launched a redesigned https://galiff.org creating a year-round destination where filmmakers, students, industry professionals, and film lovers can attend events, screenings, discover festival news, purchase passes, submit films, register to volunteer, explore educational programming, connect with career opportunities, and stay engaged after GALIFF 2026.
As GALIFF celebrates fifteen years, the organization is inviting filmmakers, volunteers, corporate partners, community organizations, artists, and supporters from Georgia and beyond to be part of its most ambitious festival yet.
