EVANSVILLE, Ind. - TelAve -- Blood Pact Films is proud to announce the acquisition of Control Freak, a psychological horror thriller produced by Scold Productions and affiliated with Karma Pictures.

Inspired by actual events, Control Freak follows Eva and Ryan Davis, whose already strained evening takes a sinister turn when a mysterious caller begins harassing them. What starts as an unwanted intrusion quickly escalates into a psychological nightmare as their home becomes a trap controlled by an unseen tormentor who seems to know far more about his victims than he should.

As the couple begins to understand the caller's game, they are forced into a battle of wits and survival. With time running out and the threat remaining one step ahead, Eva and Ryan must find a way to regain control before it's too late.

Written by Salem DiBetta and directed by DiBetta and Brandon Hrupsa, Control Freak stars Salem DiBetta, Jonathan Mahoney, Brandon Hrupsa, Nick Sipe, Javier Ortiz and Chris Langiu, with Clint Myers as the voice of Mr. Carlucci and Joe Gibney as the voice of the Watcher.

DiBetta and Hrupsa also served as directors of photography and camera operators. The film was edited by Anastasia Beaverhausen, with special effects by Chris Langiu and makeup and cosmetic effects by Nick Sipe.

"Control Freak caught our attention because it takes something as simple as a phone call and turns it into a situation where the characters completely lose control of their own environment," said Shane Taraschke, founder of Blood Pact Films. Control Freak was produced by Scold Productions, affiliated with Karma Pictures, and is dedicated in memory of Maureen DiBetta.
