~ Boston, MA- As Women's History Month is celebrated this month, the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) is taking the opportunity to recognize and honor the influential women who have shaped Boston's history. From activists and educators to artists and entrepreneurs, women have played a vital role in the city's development.
The Mayor's Office of Women's Advancement, in collaboration with the office of Equity and Inclusion, has compiled a list of resources, seminars, and events to celebrate Women's History Month. The Boston Public Library has also curated reading lists on various topics such as finance, women in art, biographies, and more.
MeetBoston.com has highlighted local events and tours that celebrate Women's History Month. This includes exposure to women-owned businesses and restaurants in the area. The Boston Women's Heritage Trail offers a history of famous local women who have made significant contributions to politics, poetry, art, and more.
In addition to celebrating their achievements, it is important to prioritize women's physical and mental health. The EAP has compiled a list of resources for preventative care as well as peer and professional support groups.
