BreaktimeTV Adds Proven Relationship Builder Curt Giles to Leadership Team

TelAve News/10899383
With nearly 20 years in convenience services and a lifetime of leadership in sports, business and community, Giles will help guide BTV's next phase of growth.

PHOENIX - TelAve -- BreaktimeTV (BTV), the fast-growing media, promotions and communications platform built for breakrooms, laundromats and other high-traffic environments, announced today that Curt Giles has joined the company's leadership team.

Giles brings nearly 20 years of experience in convenience services, a deep understanding of operator relationships and a leadership background that extends well beyond business. Known for building relationships in both quantity and quality, Giles will play a key role in helping BTV expand its national footprint and strengthen customer partnerships.

BTV places digital screens in locations where consumers, employees and guests are already spending time. The platform helps operators grow same-store sales through product promotions, limited-time offers, combo deals, culture messaging, company updates and brand-funded advertising. BTV also creates a new revenue stream through its managed media program while allowing locations to communicate birthdays, work anniversaries, HR messages, safety updates and company news at no cost.

"Curt is not simply joining BreaktimeTV to help us grow the business," said Patrick McMullan, Founder of BTV. "He is joining us to help continue steering the vision. Curt understands people, operators, teams and leadership. He has spent his life building trust and creating winning cultures."

Giles has worked closely with McMullan and BTV co-founders Jon Evans and Darren Evans for more than a decade. That long-standing relationship gives him a strong understanding of BTV's history, operator-first approach and next stage of growth.

In addition to his convenience services background, Giles played 14 years professionally, including a long NHL career with the Minnesota North Stars. He later became a prominent high school hockey coach. He is also known as a dedicated husband, father, grandparent and community leader.

Giles will help lead BTV's push into places where people take a break, including laundromats, fitness centers, car washes and more. While BTV built its foundation in the vertical it knows best, the company is now seeing success beyond workplace breakrooms, and Giles has already been a key part of that expansion. This diversification is expected to further strengthen BTV's advertising lineup by extending the network into more consumer-facing locations outside of the workplace.
