Cameratta Companies celebrates groundbreaking of Estero's Kingston community

TelAve News/10881269
ESTERO, Fla. - TelAve -- Cameratta Companies celebrated a construction milestone in the development of its newest community, Kingston, with a groundbreaking event that included company executives, elected officials, project partners and community leaders.

The Nov. 13 groundbreaking came as site work transitions to construction, and comes years after Cameratta Companies proposed initial development plans.

Kingston is one of the largest master-planned developments ever conceived in Southwest Florida, spanning almost 7,000 acres. Over 3,300 acres of the property will be restored into wildlife habitat and designated as preserves. With sustainability at its core, Kingston is a conservation restoration project that will transform distressed, overgrown farmland into a unique community, blending environmental preserves with residential neighborhoods and commercial amenities.

At build out, Kingston will feature approximately 10,000 residences, including single-family homes, condominiums and villas. The community also will include approximately 700,000 square feet of commercial space along with an extensive array of lifestyle amenities.
