Caravel Autism Health Opens New Clinic for Families in Waukesha and Washington Counties
TelAve News/10847106
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., Nov. 20, 2024 ~ A new state-of-the-art autism therapy clinic is set to open in Menomonee Falls, expanding access to high-quality services for families in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Caravel Autism Health, a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of young children on the autism spectrum, will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 21 to celebrate the grand opening.
Located at 9201 Water Tower Place, the new clinic features colorful and sensory-friendly spaces where children can work one-on-one with therapists to build skills, develop confidence, and learn to connect with the world around them. This expansion is part of Caravel's commitment to bringing expert care to communities where families have struggled to find specialized services.
Caravel's team of autism experts creates customized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy plans for each child in their care. ABA uses positive reinforcement techniques to help young children build communication and social skills. This approach has been recognized as the most effective treatment for children with autism by both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

According to recent statistics, one in 36 children is on the autism spectrum. In addition to offering customized ABA therapy, Caravel also provides diagnostic services and family support and counseling. CEO Mike Miller expressed his excitement about opening another clinic in Wisconsin after 15 years of improving outcomes for children with autism.
Clinic director Joline Mutz, MA, BCBA, LBA emphasized the importance of early intervention for children with autism. "The best possible scenario for a child with autism is having access to a high-quality ABA therapy program at a young age," she explained. "Early access gives them the greatest opportunity to reach their full potential." Mutz and her team are currently enrolling new clients for evaluation and treatment at Caravel's new clinic. Families interested in scheduling an appointment or learning more about their services can call 262-600-2680 or visit their website at www.caravelautism.com.
