NAPLES, Fla. - TelAve -- Charity for Change's annual Planting Seeds of Humanity gala is on Nov. 7 in Naples. Proceeds support the nonprofit's character education programs, which teach children empathy, resilience and responsibility through academics and real-world service.

Last year's gala drew a sold-out crowd and raised more than $400,000 for Charity for Change's programs. This year's event continues that community support while bringing guests together around the organization's mission of teaching children in pre-K through fifth grade to care about one another and the world around them.

"The lessons children learn about kindness and compassion can stay with them long after childhood," said Karen Conley, founder, president and CEO of Charity for Change. "We are so grateful with the outpouring of new community support, new sponsorships and new partnerships this year that are inspired to support the mission and help us to do what we do for children's education and development. Every person who chooses to be part of this effort helps us plant the seeds for a more caring community through the cornerstones of teaching gratitude, generosity, respect, integrity and kindness to future generations."
