CHICAGO ~ Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson made an appearance at the fourth annual career fair hosted by Lollapalooza and Sueños at Malcolm X College today. Tim "Tuba" Smith, Director of Festivals and Strategic Initiatives at C3 Presents - the company behind Lollapalooza and Sueños - expressed their commitment to Chicago beyond just hosting annual festivals in Grant Park. He mentioned their involvement in expanded arts programming at Chicago Public Schools, support for local organizations and nonprofits, as well as hosting this annual career event as ways of giving back to the community. Smith also emphasized their goal of inspiring Chicago's youth to consider careers in the live entertainment industry.
