CinderLabs AIRA Governs NVIDIA's Open Agent Safety Platform, Turning Enforcement Into Evidence

NVIDIA enforces AI agents in silicon and emits an open OCSF audit trail. AIRA ingests it, mapping every agent action to NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act and OWASP Agentic.

PUYALLUP, Wash. - TelAve -- CinderLabs today announced governance support for NVIDIA's Open Agent Safety Platform, hours after NVIDIA released the platform and its open-source OpenShell runtime. AIRA, CinderLabs' AI governance and compliance platform, will ingest the audit events OpenShell produces and turn them into examiner-ready compliance evidence.

NVIDIA's platform enforces agent safety in hardware. OpenShell runs an agent in a sandbox, and Sentry, running on a BlueField-4 DPU, quarantines an agent that reaches past its boundary. That is the enforcement floor. It stops the breach. It does not answer the questions that follow one: who approved this agent, what was it allowed to touch, and where is the record.

That is the layer AIRA already governs.

Because OpenShell emits its audit trail as OCSF, the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework, AIRA can consume it natively. Every agent action, policy decision, and boundary violation OpenShell records becomes a governed event in AIRA: inventoried against the agent that produced it, scored for risk, and mapped to the control frameworks that regulated buyers answer to.

"NVIDIA just told the market what security teams have said for two years. Agent safety cannot be left to the agent," said Jeromie Jackson, Founder of CinderLabs. "They built the floor. Silicon stops the act. It does not prove the control existed, fired, and held. That proof is governance, and governance is what auditors, boards, and regulators actually buy. AIRA does that today for the agents you already run, and it will do it for OpenShell the same way."

AIRA's agentic governance layer is available now. It inventories production agents and their capabilities, records every agent decision, escalation, human override, and boundary violation, provides runtime guardrails and kill-switch controls, and maps agent activity to NIST AI RMF, the EU AI Act, OWASP Agentic, ISO 42001, MITRE ATLAS, and more than 30 additional frameworks. Support for OpenShell's OCSF audit stream is in early access now for AIRA customers and design partners.

Enforcement is becoming a commodity. Governance is not.
