~ The City of Bloomington is offering an opportunity for residents to become involved in local decision-making by applying for positions on the Board of Housing Quality Appeals. This board, which is appointed by the Mayor, plays a crucial role in hearing appeals from individuals who have been affected by rulings or decisions made by enforcing officers or administration officials.

According to Title 16 of the Bloomington Municipal Code, the Board of Housing Quality Appeals has the authority to investigate and overrule decisions made by administrative officers, including those from the neighborhood development division. To be eligible for a position on this board, applicants must be residents of Bloomington.
