City of Columbia to host Let's Talk Local discussion for Ward 6

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to hold its monthly Let's Talk Local discussion on Tuesday, February 17th at the Sports Fieldhouse. The event will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. and will feature Ward 6 Council Member Betsy Peters and staff from the City's Utilities department.

The main focus of this discussion will be the Electric Integrated Resource Plan, with updates and information being provided by Council Member Peters and City staff. Residents are encouraged to attend and bring any questions they may have about the plan. They can also submit their questions in advance on BeHeard.CoMo.gov/ask-city-council.

During the meeting, Council members and City staff will do their best to answer these questions as time allows. Any questions submitted online will also be addressed and posted on BeHeard after the meeting.

This event is open to all residents from any ward, and refreshments will be provided. Those planning to attend are asked to register at https://forms.gle/zHF5ta2RszrrGjDk6.

To determine which ward they reside in, residents can visit CoMo.gov/boards/city-council/wards-map/. It is important to note that members of the public are welcome to attend any open meeting.
