City of Evansville Launches Evansville Works 4U Mobile App for Service Requests

TelAve News/10911143
EVANSVILLE, Ind. ~ The City of Evansville has launched a mobile app for residents to report non-emergency concerns and track the status of service requests.

The Evansville Works 4U app, powered by CivicPlus SeeClickFix technology, lets users submit requests from mobile devices, receive updates from city departments and follow progress. The app can also direct users to an existing report when they begin submitting a request about an issue that has already been reported, the city said.

Residents can download the app on iOS and Android devices or submit and track requests through the city's website on a desktop computer.

Mayor Stephanie Terry said the app is intended to improve communication between the city and residents. She said residents often notice neighborhood issues early and that the app offers another way to share concerns and work with the city.

CivicPlus Vice President of Product Aaron Pierce said the company aims to help local governments improve community engagement and communication. He said the technology can make it easier for residents to report issues and for city leaders to address community needs.

The announcement refers to the app as both Evansville Works 4U and Improve Evansville.
