DENVER ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Polis has appointed Elizabeth A. McClintock to the Teller County Court in the 4th Judicial District. This decision comes after the retirement of the Honorable Theresa L. Kilgore and will be effective as of March 1, 2026.

Ms. McClintock brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as a Presiding Municipal Court Judge in Woodland Park since 2015. In this position, she has presided over cases involving municipal ordinance and traffic violations. Additionally, she holds the position of Managing Attorney at McClintock Law Firm, LLC, where she specializes in criminal defense, dependency and neglect, and civil appeals.

Prior to these roles, Ms. McClintock held various positions including Supervising Attorney at McDivitt Law Firm from 2013 to 2015 and Partner at McClintock & McClintock, P.C. from 2001 to 2013. She also has experience as a Deputy District Attorney in the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office from 1996 to 2001 and as an Associate at Koncilja & Koncilja, P.C. from 1995 to 1996.

Ms. McClintock received her Bachelor of Science degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming in 1992 and 1995 respectively. With her extensive legal background and experience, Ms. McClintock is well-equipped to serve on the Teller County Court bench.
