DENVER ~ On a sunny afternoon in Denver, Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera joined forces with the Colorado State Forest Service and CSU Spur to celebrate Arbor Day. The event, held at CSU Spur, brought together a diverse group of individuals including forestry professionals, sustainability advocates, and community members.

The purpose of the event was to recognize the importance of planting trees and protecting Colorado's natural environment. Lt. Governor Primavera emphasized the shared responsibility that everyone has in preserving the landscapes that make Colorado unique.

"Arbor Day reminds us that planting a tree is a promise to future generations," said Lt. Governor Primavera. "It's a promise of clean air, resilient ecosystems, and healthier and more connected communities. I am grateful to the Colorado State Forest Service for leading this work and for reminding us that sustainability starts at the roots."
