Columbia: Go COMO Blue Route to detour beginning Aug. 24 due to Clark Lane roundabout construction

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - Starting on Monday, August 24th, the Go COMO Blue Route will be taking a temporary detour due to a road closure on Clark Lane. This closure is necessary for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Clark Lane and Hanover Boulevard.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced that Clark Lane will be closed from just east of the entrance to Student Transportation of America to just west of the entrance to Casey's. This closure is expected to last for approximately two months.
For riders who use the Blue Route, there will be a detour in place after departing from Wabash Bus Station. The route will operate normally until reaching Whitegate Drive and Sylvan Lane, where it will then follow this detour:
- Left on Sylvan Lane
- Right on Vandiver Drive, crossing U.S. Route 63
- Right on Mexico Gravel Road
- Right on Ballenger Lane
- Right on Orchard Lane
- Right on McKee Street
- Left on Rice Road
- Left on Olympic Boulevard
- Left on Clark Lane
- Right on East Saint Charles Road
- Right on Interstate 70
- Exit right onto the Interstate 70/Highway 63 interchange
- Left on Clark Lane

Riders who normally use these stops will need to walk to the next-nearest active bus stop. Signs will be posted at affected bus stops starting on Monday, August 17th to notify riders of the temporary closures. The detour route can also be viewed on the ETA Transit app and on the GoCOMOTransit.com website.
The detour will remain in effect until construction is completed, which is currently expected to be in late October. Go COMO will provide updates through social media, the ETA Transit app, and their website.
Riders can also sign up for Go COMO Alerts by visiting Alerts.CoMo.gov to receive text message notifications about any service changes.
