(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia residents will have to adjust their travel plans as the overnight road closure of South Sinclair Road has been rescheduled. Originally set to begin on June 23, the closure will now take place on Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. This change is due to a scheduling conflict.

The closure is necessary for the installation of storm sewer pipes as part of a private development project that includes the construction of a roundabout. Northbound traffic on South Sinclair Road will be detoured via Muirfield Drive, while southbound traffic will remain open until West Southampton Drive, with barricades placed south of the intersection.

The road is expected to reopen by 7 a.m. on Friday, June 26. Residents are advised to plan their routes accordingly and follow all posted signs and detours during this time.
