Following recognition from Congressman Mike Haridopolos, Space Coast Water Sweep unveils major new updates to the website.
COCOA, Fla. - TelAve -- Space Coast Water Sweep is proud to announce continued expansion of its conservation efforts following recent recognition by Congressman Mike Haridopolos, who publicly acknowledged founder Dennis Woytowitz for his dedication to protecting and restoring the Indian River Lagoon
While the recognition honored years of volunteer work removing derelict crab traps and marine debris, it also highlighted something much larger—a rapidly growing conservation platform that is changing how communities learn about, monitor, and help restore Florida's waterways.
Originally created as a volunteer reporting tool, Space Coast Water Sweep has evolved into a comprehensive conservation network that combines education, technology, citizen science, nonprofit collaboration, and real-world restoration.
