New office strengthens Connect's presence across San Diego's innovation corridors and expands access for founders, partners and community members.
SAN DIEGO - TelAve -- Connect, the nonprofit organization supporting San Diego's innovation ecosystem for more than 40 years, today announced the opening of its second office, located at Kiln Rancho Bernardo.
The new office expands Connect's physical presence beyond its current office at UC San Diego Park & Market, creating greater access across the region for founders, partners, investors and innovation leaders. The expansion reflects Connect's continued focus on meeting the ecosystem where it is, strengthening connections across San Diego's life sciences, technology, defense and emerging innovation communities.
Located in the heart of Rancho Bernardo, Kiln offers flexible workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms and community programming designed to support modern teams and growing companies. For Connect, the new office creates an additional hub near one of San Diego's important technology and business corridors, while maintaining its central presence downtown.
"Connect has always been built around the idea that innovation moves faster when people are connected to the right resources, relationships and opportunities," said James Zanewicz, CEO of Connect. "Opening a second office at Kiln Rancho Bernardo allows us to extend our reach across the region and be more accessible to founders, partners and leaders building in different parts of San Diego. This is about showing up where the ecosystem is growing and continuing to build the pathways that help companies move forward."

Connect's office at UC San Diego Park & Market will remain an important center for the organization's programming, community engagement and regional convening. The addition of Kiln Rancho Bernardo builds on that foundation by expanding Connect's ability to serve companies and partners across a broader geographic footprint.
"We are excited to welcome Connect to Kiln Rancho Bernardo," said Austin Carter, community director at Kiln Rancho Bernardo. "Our community is built around helping entrepreneurs, teams and innovators do their best work, and Connect brings a deep history of supporting the people and companies shaping San Diego's future. Having Connect here strengthens the kind of collaboration and energy we want this space to represent."
The second office supports Connect's broader strategy to strengthen San Diego's innovation infrastructure through founder support, capital access, strategic partnerships and ecosystem visibility.
