NASHVILLE, Tenn. - TelAve -- Patch Work: Bee Brave. Bee Kind. Bee You., written by Craig
Conover, illustrated by Maine Diaz, and published by World of Kids Books, is an instant New York Times
and USA Today bestseller. Following its October 13 release, the book debuted at No. 6 on the New

Inspired by Conover's experience pursuing his passion for sewing despite criticism, Patch Work
encourages children ages 4-8 to embrace their differences, stand up for others, and find the courage to
be themselves.
"With Patch Work: Bee Brave. Bee Kind. Bee You. I wanted to create a story that reminds children that

"Craig's story has so much heart, and we believed it could make a difference for kids," said Hillary Keller,

team and everyone who helped bring it to life."
The launch includes a national book tour and school visits. Companion educator toolkits, developed with
bullying prevention expert Dr. Chad A. Rose and a team of education and counseling professionals,
extend the book's message through classroom lessons, activities, and family resources.
