FORKED RIVER, N.J. - TelAve -- Dasti & Staiger is pleased to announce that attorney Stephen E. Parrey has joined the firm as an Associate, bringing more than a decade of experience in civil, criminal and appellate practice. Throughout his career, Parrey has handled a wide range of matters involving general liability, Title 59 claims, State and Federal civil rights, employment and personal injury. His experience also includes advising county and municipal entities on matters involving public contracts, construction appeals and zoning applications.
Parrey also brings significant experience in New Jersey's criminal and municipal courts, where he has obtained numerous favorable results for clients, with a majority of his cases resulting in dismissal, diversion or substantial reductions in charges. "Stephen's broad legal experience and familiarity with both public and private matters make him a strong addition to our team," said Christopher Dasti, Managing Partner of Dasti & Staiger. "His experience across several areas of law complements the work we do every day, and we look forward to the perspective and knowledge he will bring to the firm and our clients."

Parrey earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark in 2014 after earning his degree in Criminal Justice from Monmouth University in 2011. He was admitted to the State of New Jersey Bar in 2015, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2018 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 2023. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and served as a Trustee from 2024 through 2026.
Outside of his legal practice, Parrey enjoys snowboarding, spending time at the Jersey Shore and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams, particularly the Flyers.
