David Weekley Homes Launches Thanksgiving Food Drive in Atlanta

TelAve News/10880019
ATLANTA - TelAve -- As the season of ghosts and goblins gives way to the holiday devoted to gratitude and gatherings, David Weekley Homes' Atlanta Division kicks off its annual "Giving Thanks, Giving Back" Thanksgiving Drive. Between October 31 and November 14, 2025, the award-winning homebuilder will collect donations of non-perishable food items at its model homes throughout Metro Atlanta and at its Corporate Office in Roswell. The event culminates on the final day with a push for frozen turkeys – to help ensure that individuals in need enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Once again, David Weekley Homes is partnering with HomeAid Georgia on this endeavor. Their combined efforts will benefit the Clayton County Community Services Authority and the South Metro neighbors it serves.

"Our annual 'Giving Thanks, Giving Back' Thanksgiving Drive is an impactful element of David Weekley Homes' CARE program," said Atlanta Division President Adam Cornett. "We ask the community to stuff our neighborhoods on behalf of our neighbors in need - calling upon our Team Members, Homeowners, homebuyers, vendors, and community partners to join us in the spirit of giving. Last year, we collected 2,509 non-perishable food items and 5,277 lbs. of frozen turkeys – more than enough to feed an estimated 1,700+ individuals. We're hoping to move the needle even further this year, thanks to our partners at HomeAid Georgia."
