Equipment Source, Inc. Preparing to Support Telecommunications This Winter
TelAve News/10644178
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - TelAve -- Fairbanks manufacturer Equipment Source, Inc. (ESI), is ramping up for some busy months ahead as it helps Alaska's telecommunications industry keep people connected through the upcoming winter.
The industry provides a vital link between people in all regions of the state, which keeps Alaskan communities connected and helping businesses move forward together. However, harsh winters, short construction seasons, remote jobsites, and a lack of road access means telecommunications companies need a trusted equipment partner to help them get the job done in Arctic conditions.
ESI has a variety of customized industry solutions designed to meet the needs of each sector. The telecommunications range includes everything crews will need to get the job done in extreme weather, from walk-in modules, to self-contained mobile industrial heaters, modular enclosures, re-air enclosures, propane generators, and more. Many projects come with additional features and options that mean customers can be sure they will find exactly the right tools they need to get to work. All ESI-made products are locally designed and manufactured here in Alaska.

The helpful team at ESI is committed to doing what's required to help telecommunications customers work as efficiently and economically as possible. As such, we recommend products from a number of top brands in the United States and around the world to supply additional products. This includes things like Flagro industrial jobsite heaters, quality Thomson transfer switches, Shindaiwa packaged generators, and earthmoving equipment from vendors such as Kubota and JCB.
"Working up here is not like working in other parts of the U.S. The conditions are very tough, which means our customers need high reliability and an excellent service. Those are two things we bring to the table in what we design and build, and what we vend," says ESI Vice President Nick Ferree.
"We need to make sure our customers can be as productive as possible as the weather allows. We've always taken an innovative approach to everything we design and build to make sure it works in the Arctic conditions we have here in Alaska. A lot of our customers are running critical infrastructure projects and they need parts and materials that won't let them down."
