Family-Owned All Volleyball Inc. Announces Recipient of COVID-19 Fundraiser Proceeds
TelAve News/10630137
#VolleyStrong Brings Welcome Relief to Volleyball Community Families
ST. LOUIS - TelAve -- Today All Volleyball proudly announces the third recipient of the #VolleyStrong fundraising campaign. Jasmine Burton was nominated by her boyfriend, Sean Tory.
She is a beloved teacher, soon to be school counselor and an inspiring volleyball coach. Jasmine and Sean are residents of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jasmine has taught third grade students, but this year received her Masters degree and will begin as a school counselor next year for Clark County School District. She runs a volleyball club called Underrated and currently has two teams. She keeps her teams connected through group chats and motivates them through workouts. She inspired her teams to start taking turns doing kind gestures for each other. Once a week, a member from the club is going to another team member's house with a small gift.
All Volleyball Inc. is finding a way to give back to people and families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The #VolleyStrong campaign is funded by a percentage of the sales from the #VolleyStrong line of merchandise available on the All Volleyball website. All Volleyball Inc. sent $500 via PayPal to Jasmine as a thank you for the vital work she is doing and the special ways she is leading and inspiring young volleyball players and students.

"The idea is simple, but it's a big idea," said Corey Lawson, president of All Volleyball, Inc. "We are creating a movement within the volleyball community to take care of the volleyball community. Our heartfelt thanks go to all of the people going above and beyond to serve others during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are happy to recognize Jasmine Burton as a hero."
Anyone may nominate someone they know and love in the volleyball community (coach, parent, teammate, official, etc) who is either working in an essential service such as healthcare, grocery or delivery or is sacrificially giving of their time to assist in a volunteer capacity like a food bank or clinic. The next recipients will be announced on June 30, 2020.
