Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - On May 30, the City of Long Beach will host its second annual Home Improvement Expo at Whaley Park. The event, organized by the Community Development Department, aims to provide resources and inspiration for residents, designers, construction professionals, and businesses looking to improve their homes.
The free celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature dozens of local professionals sharing practical tips and answering questions on various home improvement topics such as design, construction, flooring, tile, cabinetry and shelving, smart-home tools, heating and cooling systems, and windows.
According to Mayor Rex Richardson, the Expo is a reflection of Long Beach's commitment to progress and reinvention. "This Expo will give residents from every part of our city new inspiration and free advice for how to make their homes more beautiful, sustainable and comfortable," he said.
Attendees can also expect to find representatives from other City departments such as Building and Safety, Planning and Code Enforcement Bureaus who will be available to answer questions about property upgrades and neighborhood improvements like street trees.
