WASHINGTON - Sept. 24, 2018 - TelAve -- FreedomGate, a start-up company, has finally launched their crowdfunding campaign to prepare for an uphill battle with tech giant Google in the Search Engine and software productivity space.

Founded over a year ago, FreedomGate has been working on several software alternatives to those offered by Google and other mainstream corporations, putting an emphasis on modular software design and community contributions.

The Software is to take the form of a website and mobile app also named FreedomGate. The features that Freedomgate will have will be quite similar to Google, from business productivity applications, E-mail hosting, Stock screeners, News aggregates, and will also focus on tackling media features such as converters for video and audio files, as well as video and photo editors. of course the notable feature will be the FreedomGate Search Engine which focuses on web and image search the same as Google.

The biggest differentiation though is a piece of software called GateHub, where it will allow anyone with a free account to contribute their code to the design of the site and help out with updates working along side the Design team at FreedomGate directly.

The main objective to Freedomgate is to create a modular website and mobile app that's built and updated by the community through contributions. GateHub being where users submit their code and can even preview changes in a smaller window.

FreedomGate and several analysts believe that by having the site be community ran, the site will always have high activity and will have long-term relevance due to the fact that the website is maintained by the community itself. This will greatly decrease costs allowing FreedomGate to be more competitive with the competition without spending anywhere near as much.

Freedom Gates founder, Anthony, states that the reason FreedomGate has already gathered 120 contributors with no advertising is because people are tired of "surprise" updates, and corporations constantly lying or changing their policies. Especially in regards to censor-ship and privacy, two controversial issues that have been making rounds in the media for months.
