Four-member panel brings museum, academic, and working-artist perspectives to the selection of artists for the nationally recognized juried festival
TAMPA, Fla. - TelAve -- Gasparilla Arts has named four arts professionals to serve as Selection Jurors for the 57th Annual Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts in 2027, bringing together curators, educators, and a practicing artist to help shape the lineup for the nationally recognized juried festival.
The 2027 Selection Jury includes Noah Cox, assistant curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg; Ola Wlusek, curator of modern and contemporary art at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art; Jocelyn Boigenzahn, director of College Galleries at the University of Tampa; and Anat Pollack, assistant professor of art at the University of South Florida and a practicing artist.
The jurors will review hundreds of applications, evaluating artistic excellence, originality, and technical merit to determine which artists will be invited to exhibit at the 2027 festival at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa. Last year, Gasparilla Arts received the greatest number of applications since 2020, reflecting the festival's continued national reach and the significance of the jury process in shaping the experience for artists, collectors, and visitors.

"The Selection Jury plays an essential role in maintaining the artistic quality and diversity that visitors have come to expect from the festival," said Patricia Fosnaught, co-chair of the Jury and Rules Committee. "Tampa Bay is fortunate to have an extraordinary depth of expertise within our museums, universities, and colleges, and this panel reflects that strength. Their diverse perspectives will be invaluable as we select the artists who will shape the 2027 festival. "
Meet the 2027 Selection Jurors
Noah Cox is an assistant curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, and a curator of the upcoming Skyway regional triennial. A Florida native, Cox holds a master's degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
Ola Wlusek is is the curator of modern and contemporary art at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and a faculty member at Florida State University. She is also a co-curator of the upcoming Skyway triennial.
Jocelyn Boigenzahni is the director of College Galleries at the University of Tampa, where she oversees the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery and works to connect university exhibitions and collections with the broader community.

Anat Pollack is an assistant professor of art at the University of South Florida and a practicing artist whose work combines traditional processes with digital technologies. Her work has been exhibited nationally and throughout Tampa Bay.
The artists selected by the jury will exhibit at the 2027 Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, March 6-7, 2027, at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Tampa.
