ATLANTA ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Brian P. Kemp revealed that Yancey Engineered Solutions, a Georgia-based engineering and manufacturing company, will be investing $5.7 million in a new manufacturing facility in Cordele. This move is expected to create 300 new jobs over the next few years in Crisp County.
Governor Kemp expressed his excitement about the investment, stating that Yancey provides essential solutions and services that keep Georgia's economy moving. Yancey Engineered Solutions, a division of Yancey Bros. Company (Yancey), has been providing power generation packaging systems since its establishment in 2004. As the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Georgia, Yancey has been serving Cordele and Crisp County for many years with their earthmoving equipment, parts, and services.

Trey Googe, CEO of Yancey Bros., expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that they are excited to add new team members from the Cordele/Crisp community and manufacture products that fulfill a growing need in an important market they serve. The new facility will be located at 502 South Midway Road in Cordele and will be housed in the former Big Tex manufacturing facility.
