Geyser Data Joins NVIDIA Inception as It Builds Cold Data Infrastructure for AI
TelAve News/10906432
Membership expands Geyser Data's access to NVIDIA technical resources, training, and the broader AI ecosystem as the company develops infrastructure for long-term AI data retention.
TUSTIN, Calif. - TelAve -- Geyser Data today announced that it has joined NVIDIA Inception, a program that supports startups with access to developer resources, technical training, preferred pricing, partner offers, investor exposure, and go-to-market opportunities.
As AI programs expand, organizations are accumulating growing volumes of training datasets, checkpoints, source content, logs, models, and derived datasets. Much of that information may remain inactive for extended periods while retaining potential value for future retraining, analytics, auditability, compliance, or reuse. Keeping those datasets indefinitely on higher-cost disk, flash, or traditional cloud storage can create significant long-term storage costs.

Geyser Data provides Buckets for Cold Data Archiving, a cloud archive service designed to help organizations retain large datasets economically while maintaining familiar cloud workflows. Geyser Data Buckets are built on enterprise-grade tape infrastructure and provide predictable archive economics with no egress fees, retrieval fees, access fees, or surprise API fees. Amazon S3 compatibility allows organizations to continue using familiar tools and workflows while moving long-term data to a durable, secure cold-storage layer.
"AI is creating a new class of data that may be inactive today but strategically valuable years from now," said Nelson Nahum, CEO of Geyser Data. "The economics of keeping all of that data on traditional cloud storage indefinitely don't scale. Geyser Data is building the cold data layer that allows organizations to retain large datasets economically and bring them back when they are needed for AI training, analytics, compliance, or other future uses. Joining NVIDIA Inception gives our team access to valuable technical resources and a broader AI ecosystem as we continue building for that future."
