TelAve News/10900172
FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- s families across Southwest Florida prepare for the upcoming school year, Goodwill Southwest Florida is helping make the process more affordable with its annual Back-to-School shopping event, set for July 17–19 at all area stores.
During the three-day event, Goodwill Southwest Florida retail stores will feature a dedicated section stocked with back-to-school essentials, including uniforms, school shoes and sneakers, backpacks, lunch bags and other supplies. Items are conveniently organized to make shopping faster and easier for busy families.
With parents now spending an estimated $850 to $890 per household on K-12 school supplies, the cost of preparing for a new school year continues to rise. Expenses are increasingly driven by technology needs, popular fashion trends and detailed classroom supply lists. As a result, many families are starting their back-to-school shopping earlier to spread out costs and reduce last-minute stress.
