Greater Tacoma Convention Center Recognized Again in Top Convention Centers in North America

TelAve News/10881807
~ EXHIBITOR Magazine, a renowned industry publication, has recently announced the recipients of its 2026 Centers of Excellence Awards. Among the prestigious list is the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, which has been recognized for the sixth time as one of the best convention centers in North America.

The evaluation process for these awards was rigorous and comprehensive, with convention centers being assessed on various criteria in five key areas: Facility & Functionality, Location & Accommodations, Service & Execution, Expansions & Upgrades, and Honors & Awards. This involved a survey of event organizers and exhibit managers who have recently held events at each facility, as well as a thorough review of event spaces, amenities, nearby attractions, and innovations by a panel of corporate exhibit managers.

According to Emily Olson, editor of EXHIBITOR magazine, the Centers of Excellence Awards are crucial for helping exhibit managers identify exhibitor-friendly venues that can enhance their trade show experiences. She emphasized that even small details such as loading dock size and internet service quality can greatly impact exhibitors' overall satisfaction. The facilities that made it to this year's list have proven their ability to host successful trade shows and events while providing top-notch service and state-of-the-art accommodations.
