FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties will host its 2026 Women Build Kickoff Party on March 2 at The Forest Country Club in Fort Myers, marking the start of its 16th season dedicated to empowering women through homeownership.

Habitat's fundraising goal is $500,000 for the 2026 Women Build season.
Since 2011, Women Build in Lee and Hendry counties has partnered with 31 female-headed families to build strength and stability for their children through local fundraising and volunteer efforts. Last year, nearly 80% of Habitat's future homeowners were female-led households.
