2025 HBCU All-Star Games for Men & Women to be Held at Freeman Coliseum in
San Antonio on Sunday, April 6

SAN ANTONIO - TelAve -- HBCU All-Stars LLC has released its fourth annual HBCU All-Stars Watch List for men's basketball and the first ever HBCU All-Stars Watch List for women's basketball featuring the nation's top HBCU basketball players from the SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, SIAC, as well as Tennessee State, Hampton, and North Carolina A&T State Universities. The HBCU All-Star Games will be a double-header played at Freeman Coliseum on Sunday, April 6, 2025 highlighting the final 24 men and 24 women from the watch list.  The games will start at 11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET for the women, and 1:00 p.m. CT/2:00 p.m. ET for the men.

"The HBCU All-Stars Movement was founded through a GOD-driven vision in October 2019, after 17 successful years of coaching. The mission is to change the trajectory of our proud, prestigious, and tradition rich HBCUs.  We are truly excited and blessed to show the world that HBCUs matter. We are grateful to bring these men and women HBCU All-Star Games to the great city of San Antonio during college basketball's biggest weekend," said Travis L. Williams, Founder and CEO of HBCU All-Stars LLC.

HBCU All-Star Games have been hosted in New Orleans, Houston, and Phoenix with two back to back sell-out and standing room only crowds.  In San Antonio, we have another opportunity to showcase our talented student-athletes and coaches on a global stage. Hosting the first ever women's HBCU All-Star Game is special to us. It's long overdue that female athletes receive visibility, greater equality, and coverage.  There are currently no active HBCU players represented on an NBA or WNBA roster, and we hope to change that narrative very soon. On Sunday, April 6, all eyes will be on San Antonio, Texas for what will be some outstanding and historic games and a phenomenal celebration of the Best in Black College Basketball.

The HBCU All-Star Game Experience is far more than a basketball game. It's a week-long festival that highlights our prestigious HBCUs, Black Excellence and Black Culture. The events will kick off on Wednesday, April 2, and conclude the following Tuesday after the Championship game (April 8).
