ATLANTA - TelAve -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism participated in the International Religious Tourism Congress, Land of Living Faith, in El Salvador, where delegates adopted the San Salvador Declaration, a policy framework outlining guiding principles for religious tourism for 2026–2028.

Representing Israel was Noga Sher-Greco, Director of Religious Tourism Marketing at the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The congress brought together religious leaders, policymakers, tourism professionals, tour operators and Christian media representatives to discuss religious tourism and sustainable development.

"Israel warmly welcomes visitors of all faiths seeking a profound, authentic connection to the places sacred to them," Sher-Greco said. "Participating in international forums such as this enables us to strengthen professional partnerships while continuing to promote responsible, accessible and sustainable religious tourism."
