~ On Thursday morning, January 15th, 2025, KC Water announced the cancellation of the precautionary boil water advisory for the area of 39th street and Myrtle Ave. The advisory was put in place as a safety measure after a water main break occurred in the area.

According to KC Water staff, tap water samples were taken and tested to ensure the quality and safety of the water. The results of these tests have confirmed that the tap water in this area meets the high standards for public drinking water.

Customers who may have had concerns or questions regarding the advisory can contact KC Water at 816-513-7000 (Water Laboratory) or 816-513-0416 (Water Dispatch). These lines are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are open 24/7, respectively.
