Knoxville Burger Concept Burger Boys Adds Former Chick-fil-A Operations Executive as Advisor
TelAve News/10902398
Founder-led brand brings on Alex Dominguez, former Chick-fil-A Vice President of Operations, as it plans expansion beyond its newly relaunched Knoxville flagship
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - TelAve -- KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — July 2026 — Burger Boys, a from-scratch burger concept founded by Jeffrey Bryant, today announced that Alex Dominguez, a former Vice President of Operations at Chick-fil-A, has joined the company as an advisor. The move follows the July 6, 2026 relaunch of the brand's flagship Knoxville location and comes as Burger Boys begins exploring next steps for its growth, including new locations, development partnerships, and additional investment.
Bryant spent years refining Burger Boys' recipes, guest experience, and brand before relaunching the flagship location earlier this month. The relaunch has drawn strong early support from the local Knoxville community, and the company says it is now ready to build on that traction.
"We built Burger Boys from scratch — the food, the brand, the experience — and the response since we reopened has told us we have something worth growing," said Bryant. "Bringing in someone with Alex's background means we can pair that with real operating discipline as we think about what comes next."

Dominguez brings a career of multi-unit operating experience from his time leading operations at Chick-fil-A, one of the most closely studied operating models in the restaurant industry. In his advisory role, he will work with Bryant on the operational foundation needed to support Burger Boys' next phase, whether that takes the form of additional company-owned locations, a development partnership, or outside investment.
"What drew me to Burger Boys is the same thing that makes any concept worth betting on: a founder who has already proven people want what he's selling," said Dominguez. "My job is to help make sure the operating foundation can support that demand as it scales."
Burger Boys is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is open to a range of paths for its next phase of growth, including development partnerships, growth capital, and strategic investment. The company plans to add locations across Tennessee in the near term.
