New member Preston Ford delivers an impressive reading as the chapter welcomes writers to monthly open critique sessions
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - TelAve -- The Prince George's County Chapter of the Maryland Writers' Association convened its monthly Last Thursday Writers' Collective Critique Group this past Thursday, bringing together writers from across the county for a night of readings, thoughtful critique, and supportive fellowship.
A standout moment of the evening came from Preston Ford, one of the chapter's newest members, who shared a reading that resonated deeply with the group. His voice, craft, and narrative strength sparked enthusiastic discussion, and members expressed excitement for future contributions from him.
The Critique Group is open to all writers, regardless of membership status. Sessions occur every last Thursday of the month, and participation is as simple as joining the Critique Group mailing list.
