Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Winter Class Registration Now Available

Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach residents of all ages can now register for a variety of winter recreation classes offered by the City's Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM). With over 600 activities available from December 2024 to February 2025, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
From preschool-aged children to older adults, the classes cover a wide range of interests including arts, music, nature, fitness, and sports leagues. Some of the exciting offerings include Preschool Cake Design for children aged 2 years and 6 months to 5 years old, Biddy Soccer League for ages 2 to 3 years old, and Parent & Me Soccer for ages 2 years to 3 years and 6 months.
Youth can also participate in Jazz Tap for ages 9 to 17 years old, Build a Beat for ages 5 to 6 years old, and Beginning Karate for ages 5 to 6 years old. Adults can join in on the fun with classes such as Ceramics Workshop for those aged 16 and older, Argentine Tango for ages 18 and older, and Cardio Kickboxing Fusion for ages 16 and older.

For older adults aged 50 and above, there are options like Senior Line Dancing, Gentle Yoga, and Zumba ® Gold. Registration is now open on the PRM website at lbparks.org under Online Registration or by calling their hotline at (562)570-3111. In-person registration appointments are also available at the Registration Reservations Office located at Studebaker Rd., open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to p.m.
