The platform arrives as brokers reexamine carrier-selection practices after the U.S. Supreme Court's May 14, 2026 decision in Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II, LLC. In that case, the Court held that a state-law negligent-hiring claim against a freight broker was not preempted by the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act because it fell within the statute's safety exception.
