Maine Drilling & Blasting Streamlines Operations with OpenBuild Digital Transformation
TelAve News/10862106
GARDINER, Maine - TelAve -- Maine Drilling & Blasting (MD&B), a leading construction services firm founded in 1966, has successfully completed a sweeping digital transformation to unify its data systems and streamline operations. In partnership with DCY Consulting and Runding Corporation, MD&B implemented OpenBuild—a Microsoft-based digital transformation framework designed specifically for the construction industry.
MD&B previously faced numerous data and operational challenges, including manual data entry, siloed systems, and paper-heavy processes. OpenBuild enabled seamless integration with Acumatica ERP, automated key workflows, and centralized data collection—resulting in greater efficiency, improved data accuracy, and faster reporting across departments.
"With our long history working with the Runding team, I knew they were the perfect choice for MD&B's complex data integration project," said Mike Dow, Chief Information Officer at DCY Consulting and Maine Drilling & Blasting. "Runding's expertise in the construction industry, combined with its successful track record, made it my go-to solution for this challenge."
