Shooting guard Max J. Hooper has announced his full recovery from a season-ending ankle injury.

ORLANDO, Fla. - TelAve -- Shooting guard Max J. Hooper is officially declaring his return to professional basketball and availability for team workouts and contract discussions beginning June 2026, following a full recovery from a season-ending ankle injury.

The 23-year-old dynamic American guard from St. Petersburg, Florida, most recently played for Nantes in the French LNB Pro B league. In his three professional seasons, Hooper delivered consistent production as an explosive scorer with elite court vision, posting career averages of 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.

Hooper suffered a severe high-ankle sprain with partial ligament tearing during Nantes' preseason in fall 2025. The injury required surgical repair and an intensive six-month rehabilitation program under leading European sports medicine specialists. After completing all clearance protocols, including on-court testing and strength metrics that now exceed pre-injury levels, Hooper has regained full explosiveness, lateral quickness, and confidence.
