To protect their properties from potential damage, free sandbags are being offered at various self-serve locations. These include Fire Station 202 on 830 S. Stapley Dr., Fire Station 209 on 7035 E. Southern Ave., Fire Station 212 on 2430 S. Ellsworth Rd., West Mesa Service Center on 300 East 6th St., East Mesa Service Center on 6935 E. Decatur St., and Countryside Park on 3130 E. Southern Ave.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution while driving through affected areas and avoid crossing flooded streets for their own safety.
