MIRA Safety Launches Free Nuclear Blast Simulator to Help the Public Understand and Prepare for Nuclear Emergencies
TelAve News/10908274
New interactive tool maps blast radius, fallout and safe shelter time for any location, turning abstract nuclear risk into actionable preparedness planning
AUSTIN, Texas - TelAve -- MIRA Safety® has announced the launch of its Nuclear Blast Simulator, a free, interactive nuke map available on the MIRA Safety website. The tool allows users to visualize the potential blast radius, fallout map and recommended safe shelter time for a nuclear or radiological event, giving individuals, families and organizations a clear picture of how such an event could affect their area and what steps they can take to protect themselves.
"Most people have never seriously thought about what a nuclear event would mean for their own neighborhood, and that uncertainty is what leaves them unprepared," said Roman Zrazhevskiy, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at MIRA Safety. "The Nuclear Blast Simulator replaces fear and guesswork with information. When you can see where the blast zones fall, where fallout could travel and how long you would need to stay sheltered, preparedness stops being abstract and becomes a plan you can act on."

Nuclear and radiological emergencies are among the least understood threats, and in the first hours after a detonation, decisions about where to shelter and for how long have the greatest impact on survival. The Nuclear Blast Simulator helps close this knowledge gap by showing users how distance, fallout patterns and shelter timing shape their risk, so they can make informed decisions before an emergency rather than during one.
Preparedness, however, goes beyond knowing the risk. MIRA Safety offers a full line of professional-grade CBRN protective equipment to support every stage of a nuclear emergency plan, including full-face respirators such as the CM-8M mask, CBRN filters rated against radioactive particles, protective suits, and radiation detection devices. Together with the simulator, these solutions give civilians, first responders and organizations both the knowledge and the gear they need to shelter safely and reduce exposure to radioactive fallout.

"Our mission has always been to make advanced protection accessible to everyone," added Zrazhevskiy. "Education is the first layer of that protection. The simulator helps people understand the threat, and our equipment helps them respond to it with confidence."
The Nuclear Blast Simulator is available now and free to use. To try the tool, visit the MIRA Safety Nuke Map, or explore protective equipment on MIRA Safety's e-commerce platform.
