MotionLab Builds Personalized Stretching and Mobility Sessions From a Two-Minute Joint Assessment
TelAve News/10907820
MotionLab, a web-based guided mobility platform, scores six key areas in a two-minute self-assessment and uses the results, along with an optional AI session builder, to create timed routines of 7, 15 or 25 minutes.
OTTAWA, Ontario - TelAve -- OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada - MotionLab, a guided stretching and mobility platform for athletes and active adults, creates personalized routines from a short self-assessment of how each major joint area moves. It runs in any modern web browser and is designed to make mobility work short enough to fit into a normal day.
New users start with a two-minute assessment that scores six areas: hips, hamstrings, ankles, shoulders, thoracic spine and hip flexors. Each session is weighted toward the tightest areas while still covering the full body. Users choose a length of 7, 15 or 25 minutes and a session type: Daily Maintenance, Pre-Workout, Post-Workout, Zones (a single body area) or AI Session.
The AI Session option, powered by Google's Gemini, lets users describe what they need in plain language, such as a warm-up before a run or a reset after a day at a desk. It builds a timed session from MotionLab's library of more than 75 exercises.

A built-in timer guides each exercise with instructions, breathing cues and common mistakes to avoid. Most exercises need no equipment, and those that use a band, foam roller or wall come with bodyweight alternatives. Completed sessions feed into streaks, total minutes and a weekly activity summary.
"MotionLab is designed to make mobility work easier to fit into a regular routine, starting with a quick check of where someone needs attention," said Tal Aizikov, founder of MotionLab.
MotionLab is free for up to 20 sessions a month, with an optional Pro subscription for unlimited sessions. No credit card is required to start. The company describes MotionLab as a general wellness tool, not a substitute for professional medical advice.
MotionLab also publishes articles on movement and recovery, including a guide to how often to take a walking break from sitting: https://motion-lab.io/blog/walking-break-from-sitting/
