Nava Launches Miami's First On-Demand Water Ride Service
TelAve News/10882667
The new platform connects riders with nearby boat operators for fast, affordable water transportation across Miami.
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - TelAve -- Nava, a new on-demand water mobility platform, today announced the launch of its waitlist as it prepares to introduce Miami's first ride-sharing service on the water. Designed as the aquatic equivalent of a ride-hailing app, Nava lets riders request fast, direct boat rides across Miami's waterways while enabling local boat owners to earn income through their vessels.
Unlike ferries, charters, or water taxis limited by fixed routes and schedules, Nava operates entirely on demand. Riders open the app, see available boats nearby, and request a pickup — creating a faster, more flexible way to travel across Miami Beach, Downtown, Brickell, Edgewater, and the surrounding waterfront communities.
"Nava is solving a real transportation problem," said founder Theo Arranz. "Miami's roads are gridlocked, the bridges are jammed, and we sit on a massive, under-used network of waterways. Nava turns these waterways into a real transportation system."

The platform has already recorded early traction, surpassing 180+ sign-ups from riders and boat owners ahead of its beta release. Nava will launch in phases, starting with recreational boats capable of carrying 4–13 passengers, and expanding into larger vessels as demand scales.
For boat owners, Nava provides a new income stream by monetizing idle vessels. Operators earn per ride, with Nava handling dispatching, payments, safety guidelines, and rider verification. The company is also developing partnerships with local marinas to streamline docking, fueling, and passenger pickup.
Nava's full launch in Miami is planned for early 2026, followed by expansion to Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Palm Beach. The platform aims to become the leading water mobility network in the United States, unlocking faster coastal transportation and creating a new category of urban mobility.
