Ocean Partnership for Children Delivers Holiday Support, Joy, and Stability to Families
TelAve News/10883975
Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) mobilized community support to bring meaningful assistance, connection, and holiday cheer to children and families throughout Ocean County.
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - TelAve -- During the holiday season, when families often feel both the joy and the strain of increased expectations, Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) mobilized community support to bring meaningful assistance, connection, and holiday cheer to children and families throughout Ocean County.
Through a series of holiday initiatives designed to meet families where they are, OPC combined celebration with impact by ensuring that generosity is translated into real support for those facing mental health challenges, trauma, substance use, and developmental disabilities, coupled with economic stress and food insecurities. Central to this effort was Santa Snaps & Sips, a festive community event that turned holiday fun into critical funding for OPC's programs.

Santa Snaps & Sips brought together families, donors, and community members for a joyful celebration featuring pet and family photos with Santa. Every element, from raffle prizes to sponsorships. directly supported Ocean Partnership for Children's mission, helping sustain care management services that connect children and families to mental health resources, basic needs, and long-term stability. The event served as both a celebration and a reminder that community-driven giving can have lasting impact.
Beyond festive gatherings, OPC focused on addressing essential needs during the holidays. Through holiday food drives, OPC staff collected and delivered pantry items directly to families' homes across Ocean County, reducing barriers for families who may face transportation challenges or other obstacles. These deliveries ensured that families could focus on time together, rather than worrying about where their next meal would come from.
OPC also led extensive toy and gift card drives, partnering with more than 20 local businesses that served as collection sites and champions for youth and families in their community. Donations of toys and gift cards provided youth up to 21 years old with the joy and dignity of receiving gifts during the holidays, while allowing families flexibility to meet their specific needs.
